A maths solver that shows every step
Type an equation, use the on-screen calculator, or take a photo of the problem. The Math Solver works through it step by step, draws the graph where one helps, and gives you practice problems on the same idea — so the next one is yours to solve.
From 2 credits per use. Every account gets 22 free credits a day. Last updated 13 October 2026.
What it does
- Enter a problem as text, build it with the calculator keypad, or upload a photo
- Step-by-step working, with the reason for each step
- Graphs for equations and functions where a picture helps
- Practice problems on the same method
- Covers algebra, calculus, trigonometry, geometry, probability and more
How it works
Enter the problem
Type it, use the calculator, or snap a photo of the page.
Follow the solution
Read the steps in order; each one says why it follows from the last.
Practise
Try the practice problems, then ask a follow-up if any step is unclear.
Try asking
- “Solve 2x² − 5x − 3 = 0 and show the factorisation.”
- “d/dx of x·sin(x²) — explain the chain rule step.”
- “A bag has 4 red and 6 blue balls. Two are drawn without replacement — find P(both red).”
Good to know
- A solved problem uses 2 credits.
- AI can make arithmetic slips in long calculations. Check the final value, and use the steps to find where a mistake crept in.
- Photos of messy handwriting may be misread — if the answer doesn't match, type the problem in.
Frequently asked questions
Does it show steps or only the answer?
Steps. Each step is explained so you can follow the method, which matters most in an exam.
Can it solve word problems?
Yes. Paste the full problem; it will set up the equations first and then solve them.
Is it free?
The Free plan includes 22 AI credits a day, enough for several solved problems. Paid plans add more credits.
