Privacy Policy

What we collect, why, who helps us run Learnsable, and the control you have — written to match what the product actually does.

Who we are

Learnsable ("we", "us"). This policy explains how we handle personal data when you use dhronaai.com and the Learnsable app. We process personal data under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the "DPDP Act") and other applicable law.

What we collect

  • Account details — your name, email address and, if you add it, your phone number. If you set a password, we store only a one-way Argon2id hash of it, never the password itself. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and a Google account identifier.
  • Your study profile — the class or stage you're at, institution, course, year, board, goals, exams you're preparing for, career interests and how you like to learn.
  • What you create — subjects and topics, tasks, planner and calendar entries, practice answers, your mistake book, study sessions, notes, saved answers and the history of your AI tool results.
  • AI conversations — the messages you send to the AI tutor, chat, doubt solver and Student AI mentor, and their replies. The AI also keeps short notes about your preferences (for example, "prefers worked examples") so its help fits you — you can see, edit, delete or switch these off in Settings.
  • Files you upload — documents, images and audio you upload to Notes are stored privately in your account. Files you attach in chat or to a PDF question are sent to the AI to answer you and are not kept as files.
  • Payments — which plan or credit pack you bought, the amount, status and payment references from Cashfree. We never see or store your card number, UPI PIN, CVV or bank login — Cashfree handles those directly.
  • Security and usage records — your signed-in sessions, a one-way hash of your IP address and your browser type in security logs, and which AI tools you used and how much (to count credits).

How we use it

  • To run the service — sign you in, save your work, and generate AI answers.
  • To personalise help — the AI uses your study profile, weak topics and exam dates to make its answers relevant to you.
  • To manage plans and credits, process payments and send receipts.
  • To keep accounts secure — detect abuse, block repeated failed sign-ins and investigate problems.
  • To answer you when you contact support, and to meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell your data, show ads, or use third-party analytics or advertising trackers. We do not build advertising profiles of anyone.

Who helps us run Learnsable

We share data only with the service providers below, and only what each needs to do its job for us. Some of them process data outside India, as the DPDP Act permits.

Voice input uses your browser's built-in speech recognition. In some browsers (for example Chrome), the browser sends the audio to its maker's speech service to turn it into text; we only receive the text.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it, such as a valid order from a court or authority.

Students under 18

Learnsable is built for students, including school students. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must read and agree to our Terms and this policy on your behalf before you create an account — we ask you to confirm this at sign-up. We don't track, profile or target advertising at anyone, including children.

If you're a parent or guardian and believe your child signed up without your agreement, contact our Grievance Officer below and we will delete the account.

How long we keep it

  • Your account, study data, conversations and files — for as long as your account is open, or until you delete them.
  • When you delete your account (Settings → Delete account), your profile, study data, AI conversations and memory, uploaded files, sign-in details and sessions are erased immediately.
  • Payment and subscription records are kept, without your name or contact details, for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires.
  • Security logs are kept for a limited period to protect accounts and investigate abuse. Deleted data may persist briefly in routine backups until they are overwritten.

Your rights

  • Access — ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it.
  • Correction — update your profile in Settings, or ask us to correct anything you can't edit yourself.
  • Erasure — delete your account at any time from Settings. This also withdraws your consent to our processing.
  • Grievance redressal — complain to our Grievance Officer (below). If you're not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
  • Nomination — nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or become unable to.

To use any right except deletion (which is self-serve), email us from the address on your account.

Security

We protect your data with encrypted connections, hashed passwords, short-lived sessions and access controls — the details are on our Security page. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and protect your account — no advertising or analytics cookies. See our Cookie Policy.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we'll update the date above. If a change materially affects how we use your data, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.

Contact and Grievance Officer

Questions, requests or complaints about your data go to our Grievance Officer. We acknowledge every grievance within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within 30 days.
