Image Compressor & Converter

Compress and convert images to fit an upload limit

Hit a form's upload limit without guessing. Choose a format and a target size, and the compressor finds the highest quality that still fits underneath it. The sizes you see are measured from the real output, not estimated.

What it does

  • Convert between WebP, JPEG, PNG and AVIF
  • Target a maximum file size and let it find the best quality that fits
  • Resize to a maximum width or height
  • See the real before-and-after file sizes

How it works

  1. Add an image

    Upload the photo or scan.

  2. Set the format and limit

Pick a format, a size ceiling and, if needed, a maximum dimension.

  3. Download

Check the measured size, then save the file.

Try asking

  • “Get this scan under 1 MB as a JPEG.”
  • “Convert my diagram to WebP at 1280 px wide.”

Good to know

  • It costs no credits.
  • Size targets currently include 500 KB, 1 MB and 2 MB; for very small limits, also reduce the maximum dimension.
  • Heavy compression lowers quality. Check text in scans stays readable before you submit.
